Ok, so this is what I think:

Blindspot – It looks really good. Action packed, good leads, lot of mystery. I am excited about this show.

Heartbreaker – It kinda reminds me House M.D. I don’t like this kind of shows – medical procedural that bets just on the lead character. I’¨ll watch the pilot but thats probably all I’m gonna watch.

The Player – I grew up watching Wesley Snipes and his movies. And I loved him in Expendables 3. So I am excited to see his new project. The Player looks like good popcorn show with big over the top action scenes and I like that. Broadcast networks should do popcorn shows so people can relax while watching them.

not disappointed because i didn’t have high expectations (hot&bothered is the only series i really wanna watch).
blindspot could be a blacklist spin off. i gave it one season and i regret it so i’ll pass on this one.
i’m so happy nbc is done with comedies after the voice. it’s a big promotion for heartbreaker though. i’m sure at mid-season, heartbreaker will move to wednesday and eva longoria and america ferrera will take the spot.
heroes on thursday was obvious. i’ll check the first episode but the cast isn’t appealing to me.
the player looks like a 90s action movie, it’s just not for me.
people are talking is a buddy comedy (i didn’t realize, reading the plot), i stopped watching the trailer after the joke about the nanny’s boobies. but it’s a good companion for undateable.

blindspot is the only potential hit. heartbreaker will do its best (and it’s not that complicated given nbc standards). on thursday, nbc has no other choice than building something piece by piece. the schedule is not that bad i guess.

  3. Why did you post a fake schedule earlier? You fooled SpoilerTV, and I trusted you as a source for my new site. I was very upset to find out that this was a fake when the real schedule was released (which I see you have now).

It was not a fake schedule! (see the tweets I made an hour before the announcement!) There was just a doubt around wednesdays at 8! (and that’s why I wrote “Subject to last minute changes”). I didn’t fool anyone! You can trust me.

I usually end up trying everything each year because I am into giving chances. Pilots are not the be all end all. TV is a thing that grows and evolves a lot, they’re not usually perfect from minute one.
    1. Blindspot could be a big risk, but I love Jamie Alexander from the Thor movies. She sells the badassery for me. Now if they focus on agency for her as a character and not solely have her be a prop for mystery tattoo conspiracy shenanigns, it could work.
    2. Heartbreaker is a little redundant on the medical show front…but I’ve always loved Melissa George in other things and Dave Annable has that salt and pepper thing going on…if they do a few things differently it could have a chance, but it might just fall by the wayside because I’m definitely more into Chicago Med as it’ll be part of franchise I’m fully invested in already.
    3. The Player. I have to save if no one has seen or heard of Strike Back on Starz (which is ending with a final season soon) Philip Winchester was carrying a very similar role in the kicking ass department. I recommend that show (if you take it with a few shakes of salt as it is Starz so there’s a bit of added sex stuff apart from the overall black ops narrative). Anyway I totally buy his performance here as a kickass ‘player’. Seems like it’ll mostly be procedural with slight serial elements so it could fare better than the full on conspiracy serial elements that led Allegiance and American Odyssey into straight up fractional ratings.
    4. I don’t watch multi cam comedies as a rule. Anything after the Must See era from 10 years ago, anyway. But on the single cam side, I’m looking forward to Superstore. I work in a store and I want to see if I can relate or if they get it “right”.
    5. Can’t wait for the trailers for the rest for midseason. I’m probably going to try them ll because I’m insane.
    6. Chicago Fire is going to midseason? Or do they mean late in November? Maybe it’s for the best. Less breaks, right?

  5. Jason says:

Blindspot looks great and I will give it a try. Heartbreaker looks boring and People are Talking awful. I don’t know what to think about The Players but I don’t see it working and it will probably flop like Allegiance.
